Mark Wilson-Dunn elected to IABM’s UK regional council

After holding its annual elections for its regional member councils, we’re proud to announce that Mark Wilson-Dunn has been elected to the International Association for Broadcast & Media Technology Suppliers’ (IABM) UK regional council.

IABM is one of the world leading bodies that represents companies in the media technology and supply chain industries. Each year it holds annual elections for regional member councils – a small group of individuals who are elected from a cross selection of media technology companies. And this year, for the first time standing, media and broadcast’s Vice President, Mark Wilson-Dunn will be on the board.

Joining a team of industry experts, Mark will aid in providing invaluable support to UK broadcast and media technology companies by providing focus on key issues which impact them regionally and give them a voice in what is a truly global industry.

I’m really pleased to have been elected onto the regional council, and to have the opportunity to share my experience, especially around the global marketplace, in an industry which is rapidly changing. The real challenge in the media world right now is to harness all of the opportunities created by IP, multi-channel, any device anywhere, and the convergence of IT and broadcast technology. And all without losing the quality and craft which we’ve rightly come to expect from 70 years of broadcast experience.
